What Happens When You Join Healed & Happy: Care from Day One
Healing should never be one-size-fits-all. Especially not for people who already feel too much, too fast, and too often. That’s why Healed & Happy begins with something many programs skip: double checking to see where the participant stands.
Before the first session, before any content is unlocked, we ask each participant how they are doing. Not just emotionally, but functionally.
Because before we help, we make sure they’re safe. We do that in several ways:
Step One: The Baseline Survey
Every participant begins Healed & Happy with a short intake. It’s not just for data. It’s a safety net for them and for us.
They answer a list of about 50 questions on a scale from 1 to 10.
When someone scores all 10s, or 9s and 10s, it tells us one thing immediately:
They’re not just struggling. They’re in a state of panic. This gets flagged by us. By the system as well as by our team. We are always on the lookout to make sure people get the right care from the start.
We don’t ignore that. We don’t funnel them into content.
We personally reach out by asking them in the chat within the program, and if they don’t respond there, we e-mail them.

What We Ask First: Are You Safe Right Now?
If someone’s baseline survey indicates acute distress, we follow up within 2 days to ask:
How are you doing right now?
Do you have any current support?
Are you working with a therapist?
Is there anything you need from us to feel grounded?
We want to know:
Is this person trying to navigate trauma alone, and is this the right time for a self-led program?
Is it safe for them to go through the program right now?
If the answer is no, we help them make a plan. And if that means they are better suited going to a therapist, we will refund the money from the program so they have the funds to get the help they need.

When Progress Doesn’t Happen Fast Enough
We track how people are doing over time. Not with judgment, but with care.
We do that by providing the same list of questions they filled in at the beginning. We call it the Guidepost Survey. It serves as an anchor point to see which way to go from here, which pathway (module) we will assign them next, but it also serves to see how they’re progressing.
If someone’s numbers are not going down, or if they’re showing signs of looping or emotional dysregulation, we talk to them about it.
Sometimes there are external factors that cause spikes in anxiety or stress. We help them create a plan to get through this time in a calm and secure way.
When we see someone looping over a longer period of time, we recommend they bring in extra support.
And if we feel Healed & Happy is not enough on its own, we recommend them to find a qualified therapist.
But we don’t stop there.

Support for the Therapist, Too
Fearful avoidant attachment is nuanced. Many therapists have never studied it in depth.
So we’ve created a companion guide just for them.
If someone takes Healed & Happy into therapy, we offer:
A structured overview of the model
Language that helps explain the inner world of the FA
Clear strategies for how to support progress, not resistance
That way, the therapist isn’t starting from zero, and the client doesn’t have to translate their entire inner world.
We are also always available for questions from therapists specific to helping clients heal the Fearful Avoidant Attachment style. We have talked to dozens of therapists in the past 4 years, helping them see the nuances of this attachment style clearly and concretely.

And If the Program Doesn’t Work? We Refund It.
We don’t want to keep money from someone who didn’t get what they came for.
It doesn’t happen often, but when someone tells us the program didn’t help, we don’t argue.
We offer a refund.
Because the goal isn’t to sell a program.
It’s to help someone heal.

Closing Reflection
We don’t assume that people will succeed just because they bought something.
We check in. We track progress. We flag signs of distress. We refer out when needed. We equip outside therapists.
And if it doesn’t help — we refund it.
Because every step of Healed & Happy is built around one quiet promise:
You are not just another customer. You are a person. And we take that seriously.
